WHS: Transition Handicaps

In order to transition from CONGU to WHS handicaps, all players' current handicap records will be reprocessed using the WHS principles. The calculation will identify the best 8 of the last 20 Qualifying Scores and factor in:

• The adjusted Gross Score
• The Course Rating or SSS
• Any CSS adjustments
• The Slope Rating of the tees played

Click on the pictures for more information about the calculation and examples of how it might affect different types of player
(once you have opened a picture you can scroll through the others using the Left  and Right arrows).

It is anticipated that at some point before the WHS is introduced you will be able to see your expected Transition Handicap on screen at the PSI terminal. This may change each time you add a new score as the calculation is re-done using the best 8 of your most recent 20 scores.
