Appendix M: Ladies Winter Eclectic
Note: the conditions below are to be reviewed prior to the start of the 2021-2022 eclectic.
The Ladies Winter Eclectic is a medal competition played over a designated number of competition and casual rounds through the winter. The winner is determined by adding the lowest scores recorded on each hole over all the rounds.
Competition Eclectic rounds
The first day of the eclectic is the same day as the medal competition closest to the start of October. All Ladies singles medal and stableford competitions (except the 3 clubs and a putter) count.
There is no entry fee and all members of the Ladies Section with a valid handicap are considered to have entered without specifically indicating so.
Casual Eclectic rounds
Scores may be submitted from a maximum of 2 casual rounds per month from 1st October to 31st March; potentially an additional 12 rounds in total. The 2 rounds per month are not transferable to another month.
The additional rounds do not have to be a full 18 holes, but a round of less than 18 hole counts as a full round.
Players must register in the Pro shop before playing a casual eclectic round so that the dates can be recorded.
After the round, the hole-by-hole gross scores should be submitted via the PSI screen or HowDidiDo Mobile Score Input and the scorecard posted in the box for verifying the scores.
Handicaps and Results
The results are determined by adding the lowest scores recorded on each hole over all the rounds. The handicap allowance is 50% of Course Handicap on 31st March.
There are prizes for 1st and 2nd place in both divisions, as well as a salver for the overall lowest net score. Presentation of the salver and prizes takes place at the Spring Meeting.
