Mapperley is a beautiful parkland course only four miles from the centre of Nottingham. Our rolling fairways have, for more than a century, presented the golfer with an interesting challenge from the tee, and our quick, true greens are a fine test.
Mapperley is a relaxed and friendly club, so stay a while, take in the stunning views all the way across to the Vale of Belvoir from our comfortable bar and restaurant, and make sure you visit our well-stocked pro shop.
As a members' club, Mapperley has plenty to offer, with a full social programme, weekly competitions all year round, easy course access with no pre-booking and free practice facilities.

The Tenth
As everyone will be aware by now, we have had an unfortunate incident as a child was hit by a ball in the school next to the course. To preserve the safety of the children and so that our members are not put into the position that they run the risk of hurting anyone, it has been agreed that the tenth will be played as a par three during the week and a par four at weekends, with the hole then being played away from the school while people are in a position to be hit. The children are due back at school next week, and a temporary tee will be put into operation. Work will then progress to effect a permanent installation.
Standard Scratch
Standard scratch of the course has been reassessed to 71 from the previous 70. For more information about what this means please ask Norman Wells.
